Care service list search help

You can search using just one field, or combine them to refine your search.

1. Search by ‘type of service', ‘service name' or ‘service number'

You can enter all or part of the service name in the ‘Service name' field.  For examle, if you enter the word ‘castle', the search will find all services where ‘castle' is appears - Castletown, Redcastle, Sandcastles, Castlehill etc.  This would include all types of services, anywhere in Scotland.
OR 
Use the 'Type of service' field and search for ‘Daycare of Children' containing ‘castle'
OR
Use the 'Town' field and search for ‘Daycare of Children' containing ‘castle' in Edinburgh
OR
If you know the service number you can enter it in the relevant field.

N.B  If you are searching for a childminder by 'service name' field, the search must be by surname first then first name (if known) i.e Castle, Julie.

Click on the Submit button or press the return key on your keyboard

2. Search for a service by ‘type of service' and ‘town' or 'postcode'

Select a ‘Type of service' from the drop down menu.

If you are looking for a type of care service in a particular area, complete the town or postcode fields (you can enter part postcodes, DD1 or full postcode, DD1 4NY)

Click on the Submit button or press the return key on your keyboard

3. Search for a service using 'type of service' and postcode radius

Select a 'Type of service' from the drop down menu.  Enter a full poscode and the required radius. 

Click on the Submit button or press the return key on your keyboard

4. Search for a service using 'provider Name' and/or 'provider Number'

If you are searching for a list of services linked to a specific provider, enter the provider name, town or postcode, and/or provider number in to the relevant fields. 

Click on the Submit button or press the return key on your keyboard

The search will find services that match your criteria.  Click on any name listed for service details and inspection reports.
